In the midst of the distractions and turmoil swirling around us, I’m always on the lookout for signs to see what God may be saying. A recent sign involves the current pope.
In 2021, the Pope said priests could not bless same-sex marriages because God cannot “bless sin.” In a reversal of his decision he announced on Dec 18th 2023 that Roman Catholic priests can now bless homosexual couples.
It’s caused massive uproar and confusion among Catholics.
The pope’s involvement in Agenda 2030 may be the reason he decided to bless homosexual couples. The UN Agenda 2030 promotes same-sex unions. They call it “Vision 2030.” Needless to say, these goals are incompatible with the church. But the WEF and UN are desperate to get it all done by 2030.
Anyway, the day before the publication of the Vatican document Fiducia Supplicans endorsing homosexual “blessings,” lightning demolished the keys and blessing hand of a statue of St. Peter in Argentina. Saint Peter is believed to be the first pope and papal saint. The current pope is the 266th in line from him.
The statue was blasted on December 17 2023, Pope Francis’ birthday. And the location San Nicolás, Buenos Aires is in the diocese of Pope Francis and not far from his birthplace.
“The Dec. 17 lightning strike is CONFIRMED,” the Lepanto Institute shared on X, noting that lightning struck the statue despite the fact that multiple lightning rods are located about 30 to 40 feet above it. Any Christian leader acting on his own authority is serving himself. Jesus said, “Whoever speaks on their own does so to gain personal glory, but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.” John 7:18
The pope didn’t have the authority to do what he did and now the keys have been removed, along with the blessing hand. I hope the pope sees the significance.
The Nicolaitans
I’ve explained about Nicolaitans who rule over the clergy in my book “The Wayfarer’s Guide to the Apocalypse.” Jesus never modelled their practices and he hates it.
These men are mentioned twice in the Book of Revelation.
Jesus wrote to the Church of Ephesus who battled false apostles, saying “But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.” Revelation 2:1-7
He wrote to the Church of Pergamum about leaders who were leading them astray, calling the congregation to repent; “Likewise, you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. Revelation 2:12-17
Jesus power is distributed, not centralised. God obviously doesn’t bless sin, but he helps people to repent and deal with it. Anyone who says otherwise doesn’t care about the lost condition of people and is working for the other guy, “the adversary” known in 1 Peter 5:8 as the devil.
I should say homosexuals aren’t worse sinners than the rest of us, we all need to repent and deal with our sin. Through the Word: the Sin that Defiles.
The Keys of the Kingdom
The Roman Catholic Church maintains that the Keys of the Kingdom were handed to the popes through Peter. The keys are on the Vatican coat of arms. That’s easily refuted. The early church began in Jerusalem, not Rome. It never had a Pope – from the early third century the title was a general term used to refer to all bishops. The title “Pontiff” belonged to Rome and the old roman gods.
This argument is made for one purpose: to give credibility to the idea that Peter was the first Pope in Rome. These Roman leaders have snatched up keys that don’t belong to them.
The keys of the kingdom are built on Peter’s confession of Jesus as the Son of God. Believers are given the keys when they make the confession that Jesus is who he said he is – the Son of God.
Jesus promised, “ I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose (release) on earth will be loosed (released) in heaven.” Matthew 16:13-20
As servants, binding and loosing depends on the master’s will; as Jesus taught us to ask “Your Kingdom come, your will be done.”

The Pope, Agenda 2030 and the number 266
The number 266 has some significance here – don’t ask me what it is, I just notice things. Pope Francis is the 266th Pope. On the 23rd of September 2015 he flew into New York to launch Agenda 2030. It was the 266th day of the year the UN had decreed to be the year of Lucifer. There were signs in the heavens at the time.
Around that time an astrological event, known as a blood moon occurred on September 27th in the U.S. and ended just after midnight on September 28th 2015. It was the fourth moon of a tetrad, a series of four blood moons that occured in 2014-2015.
The launch of Agenda 2030 and the pope’s arrival in New York are mentioned here.
Lightning strikes twice
When the last Pope suddenly resigned, paving the way for pope number 266, a lightning bolt hit St Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican repeatedly.
