A blasted statue missing its keys, the message sent on Pope Francis’ birthday

In the midst of the distractions and turmoil swirling around us, I’m always on the lookout for signs to see what God may be saying. A recent sign involves the current pope.

In 2021, the Pope said priests could not bless same-sex marriages because God cannot “bless sin.” In a reversal of his decision he announced on Dec 18th 2023 that Roman Catholic priests can now bless homosexual couples.

It’s caused massive uproar and confusion among Catholics.

The pope’s involvement in Agenda 2030 may be the reason he decided to bless homosexual couples. The UN Agenda 2030 promotes same-sex unions. They call it “Vision 2030.” Needless to say, these goals are incompatible with the church. But the WEF and UN are desperate to get it all done by 2030.

Anyway, the day before the publication of the Vatican document Fiducia Supplicans endorsing homosexual “blessings,” lightning demolished the keys and blessing hand of a statue of St. Peter in Argentina. Saint Peter is believed to be the first pope and papal saint. The current pope is the 266th in line from him.

The statue was blasted on December 17 2023, Pope Francis’ birthday. And the location San Nicolás, Buenos Aires is in the diocese of Pope Francis and not far from his birthplace.

“The Dec. 17 lightning strike is CONFIRMED,” the Lepanto Institute shared on X, noting that lightning struck the statue despite the fact that multiple lightning rods are located about 30 to 40 feet above it. Source: Lightning destroyed key, hand of St. Peter statue in Argentina on Pope Francis’ birthday

Any Christian leader acting on his own authority is serving himself. Jesus said, “Whoever speaks on their own does so to gain personal glory, but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.” John 7:18

The pope didn’t have the authority to do what he did and now the keys have been removed, along with the blessing hand. I hope the pope sees the significance.

A Sign from God in Argentina for Pope Francis?

The Nicolaitans

I’ve explained about Nicolaitans who rule over the clergy in my book “The Wayfarer’s Guide to the Apocalypse.” Jesus never modelled their practices and he hates it.

These men are mentioned twice in the Book of Revelation.

Jesus wrote to the Church of Ephesus who battled false apostles, saying “But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.” Revelation 2:1-7

He wrote to the Church of Pergamum about leaders who were leading them astray, calling the congregation to repent; “Likewise, you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. Revelation 2:12-17

Jesus power is distributed, not centralised. God obviously doesn’t bless sin, but he helps people to repent and deal with it. Anyone who says otherwise doesn’t care about the lost condition of people and is working for the other guy, “the adversary” known in 1 Peter 5:8 as the devil.

I should say homosexuals aren’t worse sinners than the rest of us, we all need to repent and deal with our sin. Through the Word: the Sin that Defiles.

The Keys of the Kingdom

The Roman Catholic Church maintains that the Keys of the Kingdom were handed to the popes through Peter.  The keys are on the Vatican coat of arms.  That’s easily refuted.  The early church began in Jerusalem, not Rome.  It never had a Pope – from the early third century the title was a general term used to refer to all bishops.  The title “Pontiff” belonged to Rome and the old roman gods.

This argument is made for one purpose: to give credibility to the idea that Peter was the first Pope in Rome. These Roman leaders have snatched up keys that don’t belong to them.

The keys of the kingdom are built on Peter’s confession of Jesus as the Son of God. Believers are given the keys when they make the confession that Jesus is who he said he is – the Son of God.

Jesus promised, “ I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose (release) on earth will be loosed (released) in heaven.” Matthew 16:13-20

As servants, binding and loosing depends on the master’s will; as Jesus taught us to ask “Your Kingdom come, your will be done.”

The Pope, Agenda 2030 and the number 266

The number 266 has some significance here – don’t ask me what it is, I just notice things. Pope Francis is the 266th Pope. On the 23rd of September 2015 he flew into New York to launch Agenda 2030. It was the 266th day of the year the UN had decreed to be the year of Lucifer. There were signs in the heavens at the time.

Around that time an astrological event, known as a blood moon occurred on September 27th in the U.S. and ended just after midnight on September 28th 2015. It was the fourth moon of a tetrad, a series of four blood moons that occured in 2014-2015.

The launch of Agenda 2030 and the pope’s arrival in New York are mentioned here.

Lightning strikes twice

When the last Pope suddenly resigned, paving the way for pope number 266, a lightning bolt hit St Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican repeatedly.

Signs from the Papacy: Does lightning strike twice?

Signs from the Papacy

Does lightning strike twice?

When Roman Emperor Nero committed suicide in AD 68, a 120 foot high painting of him in the gardens of Maius, four kilometers away, was destroyed by a bolt of lightning  … on the same day.

Lightning strikes twice

Nero was infamously known as the Emperor who “fiddled while Rome burned.”  He blamed the Christians for Rome burning, and had many of them thrown to the wild beasts or crucified. He also burned them to death at night, where they served as ‘lighting’ in his gardens, while he mingled among the watching crowds.  It is this brutal persecution which immortalized Nero as the first Antichrist in the eyes of the Christian church.

Emperor-Ratzinger

The lightning bolt is associated with Lucifer, who Jesus saw fall from heaven like lightning.  It’s also a symbol for Zeus (who is the same entity as Lucifer).  The symbol was used in the swastika (turn the Z’s around) and in the Waffen SS.

Which brings us to the modern-day Roman Emperor.  When the last Pope suddenly resigned, a lightning bolt hit St Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican repeatedly.

I think there’s more to that sudden resignation than we’re being told.  But I don’t think Ratzinger went to Hollywood.

Cool Pope

Pope Francis, the latest Roman Emperor, is very popular.   He looks gentler and softer than the previous Pope.

Here’s Pope Francis being promoted in this kid’s cartoon by Fox.  But see the lightning bolts on his sunglasses?  Interesting.  My daughter tells me I’m seeing too much into that, she says the lightning bolts are simply used in cartoons to denote reflections.

The sign of the hammer and sickle

The Pope will be addressing the U.S. congress on the day the French Foreign Minister warned we’d have ‘climate chaos’.  The next day the Pope will be addressing the U.N. when it launches its ‘sustainable development’ agenda for the world.

Sustainable development” is a communist buzzword that means population control, which is not what the Pope should be about, unless he’s changing the Roman Catholic church’s stance on family planning, amongst other things.  Religion should have nothing to do with Agenda 21.

No wonder president Morales of Bolivia, himself an atheist Marxist, clearly seemed to think the Pope would be pleased with a hammer and sickle crucifix.

After The Pope has spoken at the UN and Congress this month, he leaves for Rome on the eve of the last blood moon.  I see a bad moon arising.

Let’s see what he’s got planned.  He may look like a lamb but he’s speaking like a dragon.

Raven attacks dove at Vatican

The Dove is attached at the Vatican after a prayer for the Ukraine, Jan 2014.

When Pope Francis and two children released two white “peace doves” at the Vatican after saying a prayer for the Ukraine on 26 January 2014, the doves were immediately attacked by a raven and seagull, losing feathers and being driven away as a huge crowd watched.

The spectacle launched thousands of Tweets and Facebook posts, like #demonic, #omen, #apocalypse —and inevitably, of course, #angry birds.

From an Arabic tale the raven is called Abu Aajir, the Father of Omens.

It doesn’t bode well for the Ukraine.  So what else has been going on at the Vatican?

On the 2nd Dec 2013 the Pope met with the Israeli Prime Minister at the Vatican.  Pope Francis has urged Benjamin Netanyahu to bring peace talks with the “Palestinian” Arabs to a successful conclusion.  The Pope knows the peace talks mean dividing Jerusalem.  The U.S. plan is to give East Jerusalem to the Arabs and the holy sites to the Vatican.

On the 13th December the Pope met with the Secretary General for the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation).  The OIC is the closest thing the Moslems have right now to a Caliphate.

These meetings occurred at the same time the U.S. attempts  to broker another peace agreement between Israel and the Arabs.

The Pope, who will visit Israel from May 24th-26th 2014, should know about the land covenant that God made with Abraham.  You can read it in Genesis 12 and Genesis 15.  This promise was expanded upon in a covenant God made with David.  The Pope should also know how jealous God is of Jerusalem.

“This is what the LORD Almighty says: “I am very jealous for Zion; I am burning with jealousy for her.”  Zechariah 8:2

God said He is going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling.  Why?  I’ll cover that in a separate post.

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” Zechariah 12:3
