A Black Swan event

black-swan-eventThe phrase “Black swan” derives from a Latin expression; its oldest known occurrence is from the 2nd-century Roman poet Juvenal: “a rare bird in the lands and very much like a black swan.”  When the phrase was coined, the black swan was presumed not to exist.

What is a black swan event?

“The event is a term used on Wall Street that refers to a rare and unpredictable occurrence that is beyond what is expected and has severe consequences. It’s derived from European explorers who had previously thought that all swans were white and only white, as that was all they knew. They were overcome with shock and confusion when (1400 years later) Dutch explorer Willem de Vlamingh discovered the existence of black swans in Australia.”  Source: Jack Kelly, Forbes

A sign?

Coincidentally, after the stress of the Covid-19 lock down and during the contagion of the Black Lives Matter protests, rare Australian black swans were spotted in the UK on the 10th June 2020 at Crosby Marina, Liverpool.  There’d been there for five or six weeks.

What does this rare bird in the lands mean?  Is it the start of something?  I don’t know.  It’s an interesting sign.  Do the events of 2020 herald the swan song of western freedom?  Not if people wake up and value their liberty.

The birds

Black swans are widely scattered through NZ.  Here’s a photo I took of swans at Lake Taupo.  White swans are not as common.  Ironically, white swans belong to the northern hemisphere and black swans to the southern hemisphere.  Black or white, they’re still swans.  All swans matter.

AB-solute proof, the blood that speaks

ab-negative-rarest-blood-typeDid you know there is proof for the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ?  We even know his blood type, from the cloth wrapped around his head.

The cloth, called the ‘Sudarium’ is kept in a Cathedral in Oviedo, Spain.   And here’s something from the evidence room:  The blood stains match those on the Turin shroud.

Also, blood tests done on both the Sudarium and the Shroud confirmed that the blood stains on both cloths were of the same blood type: AB.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sudarium_of_Oviedo

AB blood is extremely rare.  You may not know, but there is a special need for this blood.  AB Plasma is universal and can be used for all patients regardless of their blood type.

In Exodus 12:13 which speaks of the Passover lamb, it says “The blood shall be a sign for you.”  Not only is the lamb’s blood a sign, Christ’s blood speaks a better word than that of Abel, the first man to die.  Abel’s blood called out from the ground.  This blood calls out from the word.

The night before he died, Christ said “For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.  Matthew 26:28

Do you need the universal, life-saving AB blood of this man who was crucified at Passover?
For those who demand evidence, I hope this humble blog post points you to the truth.
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free (John 8:32).
Happy Easter.
