Pressure and persuasion

This so-called Covid019 pandemic is creating financial mayhem with virtually no sector left unaffected – except for big pharmaceutical companies.  The pay-off for these companies will be huge.

So how did the big pharmaceutical companies move their product?   How were people persuaded to go and get flu shots?  The CDC had what they called a “recipe” for this.  You can see it here in this news-piece from February 2018, which shows the tactics the CDC employed through the media.  You can see the “news” was designed to elicit fear in people:

OC Global can no longer accept any ambulances.” 
“California hospitals face a’ war zone’ of flu patients – and are setting up tents to treat them.”

It turned out to be fake news.  The media wouldn’t employ that method elsewhere would they?  Given the corporate control of the media, how can we be certain they won’t?

Is fear about Covid-19, which is just another flu like Sars or Mers, being used to drum up vaccine demand?

The US National Library of Medicine has released a study used to test persuasive messages about vaccinating against COVID-19 once the vaccine becomes available.

3/15 of the sample will be assigned to a control group with a message about the effectiveness and safety of vaccines.
Other: Personal freedom message
1/15 of the sample will be assigned to this intervention, which is a message about how COVID-19 is limiting people’s personal freedom and by working together to get enough people vaccinated society can preserve its personal freedom.
Other: Economic freedom message
1/15 of the sample will be assigned to this intervention, which is a message about how COVID-19 is limiting peoples’s economic freedom and by working together to get enough people vaccinated society can preserve its economic freedom.
Other: Self-interest message
1/15 of the sample will be assigned to this intervention, which is a message that COVID-19 presents a real danger to one’s health, even if one is young and healthy. Getting vaccinated against COVID-19 is the best way to prevent oneself from getting sick.
Other: Community interest message
1/15 of the sample will be assigned to this intervention, which is a message about the dangers of COVID-19 to the health of loved ones. The more people who get vaccinated against COVID-19, the lower the risk that one’s loved ones will get sick. Society must work together and all get vaccinated.
Other: Economic benefit message
1/15 of the sample will be assigned to this group, which is a message about how COVID-19 is wreaking havoc on the economy and the only way to strengthen the economy is to work together to get enough people vaccinated.
Other: Guilt message
1/15 of the sample will be assigned to this message. The message is about the danger that COVID-19 presents to the health of one’s family and community. The best way to protect them is by getting vaccinated and society must work together to get enough people vaccinated. Then it asks the participant to imagine the guilt they will feel if they don’t get vaccinated and spread the disease.
Other: Embarrassment message
1/15 of the sample will be assigned to this message. The message is about the danger that COVID-19 presents to the health of one’s family and community. The best way to protect them is by getting vaccinated and by working together to make sure that enough people get vaccinated. Then it asks the participant to imagine the embarrassment they will feel if they don’t get vaccinated and spread the disease.
Other: Anger message
1/15 of the sample will be assigned to this message. The message is about the danger that COVID-19 presents to the health of one’s family and community. The best way to protect them is by getting vaccinated and by working together to make sure that enough people get vaccinated. Then it asks the participant to imagine the anger they will feel if they don’t get vaccinated and spread the disease.
Other: Trust in science message
1/15 of the sample will be assigned to this message about how getting vaccinated against COVID-19 is the most effective way of protecting one’s community. Vaccination is backed by science. If one doesn’t get vaccinated that means that one doesn’t understand how infections are spread or who ignores science.
Other: Not bravery message
1/15 of the sample will be assigned to this message which describes how firefighters, doctors, and front line medical workers are brave. Those who choose not to get vaccinated against COVID-19 are not brave.

The study was completed July 8, 2020.  Now we wait.  Which message do you think they’ll hit us with?

Here’s a conversation that was recorded on a hot mic at the White House Press Conference on April 20th between Chief White House Correspondent for Fox News, John Roberts and a colleague;

 “You can take off your mask here, the uh case fatality rate is like 0.1 to 0.3”

“That’s reassuring.”

“Everybody here has been vaccinated anyway.”

“USC and LA County Public Health came out with a study, they found that there were 7,000 cases in California.  But they really believe there were anywhere from 221,000 to 442,000 people who were infected.”

“Really?”

“Yeah.”

“So that makes it 0.1 to 0.3 There’s a study they came out with, or?”

“Yeah, it just came out today.”

“So it suggests the case fatality rate is what? A tenth of what it seems to be.”

“Puts it right in line with the flu.”  

“Yeah, exactly.  That’s what it is.”  

“So it was a hoax …”

“I don’t think it was a hoax.”

“Ha Ha Ha.”

Did you hear that on the mainstream news?  Now why didn’t Fox News report that, if that’s what their Chief White House Correspondent maintained?


The figures John Roberts cited were born out by a pair of California doctors who argued for lifting the Covid-19 restrictions.

In the clip, Erickson (one of the doctors) asserts that there is only a “0.3 chance of dying from COVID in the state of California,” prompting him to ask, “Does that necessitate sheltering in place? Does that necessitate shutting down medical systems? Does that necessitate people being out of work?”

Unfortunately they’ve been scrubbed off the internet by the technology giants …

Their viral video was removed for violating YouTube’s Terms of Service, after racking up 5 million views.

Covid-19 stats for California: population of 39.512 million as of July 1, 2019.  Number of Covid-19 cases as at May 7th 2020: 62,512.  Deaths: 2585.  You do the math.

Corona flagLast week, the day New Zealand went into full lock down, I was shocked at the turn of events – but not afraid of the Coronavirus.  My daughter and son-in-law felt that I was not taking it seriously enough.  I told them I would obey the lock down, but I had questions, and I felt the cure was going to be worse than the virus itself. 

It’s been a week now, and I’ve been listening to what the journalists have to say.  I’m sure we’ve all seen the footage of busy hospitals fighting the Coronavirus pandemic.  But there are reports coming from the USA, Ireland and Germany about empty hospitals.

The video starts with a citizen journalist at St James Hospital Dublin, saying: “There is no testing going on!  Wake up, people!  Wake bloody well up – there is no testing going on in these tents!”

The next clip is by German journalist Billy Six in Berlin, Germany.  It has English sub-titles.

March 28 at 5:43 AM.  They’re at Charite Hospital, Berlin: “Charite Hospital sent us into Virchow Hospital … claiming all Corona cases of Berlin would be here … Emergency situation described in media doesn’t exist here.”

Why then is there mass hysteria everywhere?

Two years ago, I learned about the tactics the CDC employed through the media from a news-piece in February 2018, which showed a false flag in Los Angeles in operation, so people would go and get flu shots.

The news reports said:

“OC Global can no longer accept any ambulances.”

“California hospitals face a’ war zone’ of flu patients – and are setting up tents to treat them.”

When the reporter from Highwire Talk went to check, she found the hospitals were empty!  So why the alarmist talk about emergencies and triage units?

The CDC admitted they were doing this, and Highwire Talk showed the CDC’s “recipe” for fostering public interest and big vaccine demand.

So based on that experience, shouldn’t news releases from places like the CDC be treated as advertorials for pharmaceutical companies until they’re investigated?

Note, the CDC was part of Event 201, a Coronavirus pandemic simulation run by the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, World Economic Forum, and Gates Foundation that began six weeks before the outbreak of this Coronavirus.

After that drill, Members of Congress dumped their stocks.

Is the CDC (Centre for Disease Control) employing the same cynical scare tactics through our main stream media so the world will demand a vaccine?  Are we being played?

Can we trust the media, given reports like this?  Are they being our eyes and ears, or are they simply propagating news releases from places like the CDC?  Who are they working for, wittingly or unwittingly?

Are we being manipulated by the media?

We’re being presented with images designed to arouse an emotional response so we will accept or even clamour for the agenda the corporations are promoting.  It’s called “marketing.”

Here are three examples of these images.

I’ll start with the current one:

The widely shared photo of the little girl crying as a U.S. Border Patrol agent patted down her mother became a symbol of the families pulled apart by the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” policy at the border, even landing on the new cover of Time magazine.

The whole thing is a lie.

The girl’s father told The Washington Post on Thursday night that his child and her mother were not separated, and a U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesman confirmed that the family was not separated while in the agency’s custody.

That cover was designed for us to think Trump is heartless.  Oh, that mean nasty Trump, enforcing a policy the Obama administration brought in.

They weren’t refugees.  Those in favour of mass immigration have used this heart rending image to great effect.  Anyone who wants the flood of migrants controlled or stopped will be seen as heartless.


We’ve all seen that photo of a polar bear stranded on the iceberg … Al Gore’s poster image for “climate change.”

They want children cuddling their teddy bears to cry for their parents do something about “climate change.”

There was just one problem: the photograph was taken not of polar bears “stranded” on ice – far from it.  Rather, the bears were wandering around their natural environment as they do every day.

Let’s hear it from the photographer,

The student who took the photograph, however, gives her account: ‘They were on the ice when we found them and on the ice when we left. They were healthy, fat and seemed comfortable on their iceberg.’ Amanda Byrd, an Australian graduate student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF), says she took the picture around three years ago – in the summer. The photograph was not ‘taken by environmentalists’ but as part of a field trip with the university.

Furthermore, the photographer wasn’t even asked permission:

Byrd is clearly a little miffed that ‘the image you have seen around the world was distributed without my consent, and [with] the wrong byline’.
